About Us

Sussex Catering Equipment was originally set up in 1970 by brothers John Coleman Snr and Frank Coleman, who were experienced friers with a vast knowledge of the equipment but who could never find anyone to service or repair their fish frying ranges.  They decided to buy an existing company – Tolworth Catering in South West London – and then changed the name when the business relocated to Sussex.  Over the years the company has progressed into manufacturing it's own fish frying ranges which gained a CE mark in May 2003.  The company is now owned by John Coleman Jnr, Anthony Cunningham and Darryl Adsett.
